The Parker Balston H2PD-300 hydrogen generator produces ultra high purity hydrogen utilising a palladium purifier. With an adjustable delivery pressure between 0.7 and 4.1 this generator produces 300ml hydrogen per minute with a purity of at least 99.99999%.
The H2PD Series hydrogen generators are an excellent source of ultra-pure, dry hydrogen for a wide variety of laboratory applications. These generators are used extensively with gas chromatographs to provide fuel gas for flame ionization detectors (FID) or reaction gas for ‘hall’ detectors.
Hydrogen is produced by electrolytic dissociation of water, after which the palladium membrane filters out residual particles of oxygen down to <0.01ppm. Only hydrogen and its isotopes can penetrate the palladium membrane, therefore the purity of the output gas is consistent and guaranteed 99.99999+%.
The H2PD series in available in 2 capacities; 150ml/min & 300ml/min. Both ar standard equipped with the ‘Auto Water Fill’ function, which automatically refills the water reservoir to produce hydrogen 24/7. Ideal for remote controlled installations with minimal user effort.
The quality of the gas and the safety of the user are guaranteed by the internal sensors and innovative protection systems. These continuously monitor the parameters within the generator. Should a small leak or deviation of quality occur, the generator will switch itself off automatically.
