The Parker KA-MT 1-8 adsorption dryers incl. activated carbon column, dry compressed air to a dew point of -40°C or even -70°C. In addition, the activated carbon adsorber removes any oil vapor from the air. This makes the air immediately suitable for use within the food and pharmaceutical industry. With a flow of up to 1430 liters per minute, these compact units are suitable for applications with a low compressed air consumption.
Parker cold regenerative dryers are based on PSA – Pressure Swing Adsorbtion – technology and therefore have no heat related complications like their warm counterparts. In addition, they do not require cooling air, which in turn is extra energy efficient.
Optionally, pressure dew point control is available. A very accurate and stable pressure dew point sensor measures the moisture content in the compressed air. If the air is of a good value, it is not dried further. As a result a lot of compressed air (=energy) can be saved.
