The Parker Zander OFAS HL/LE 100-170 adsorption dryers [OFAS - Oil Free Air System] dry compressed air to a dew point of -20°C, -40°C (default) or even -70°C. In addition, these units are equipped with an oil-removing activated carbon column. This reduces the total oil content of even oil-lubricated compressors to a Class 0 according to ISO8573-1. With a flow of up to 2040m3 per hour, these units are suitable for applications with a medium air consumption. Supplied as standard with OIL-X filtration and also available in special Food & Beverage variant.
Parker cold regenerative dryers are based on PSA – Pressure Swing Adsorbtion – technology and therefore have no heat related complications like their warm counterparts. In addition, they do not need cooling air, which in turn is more energy efficient. The CDAS and OFAS dryers are standard equipped with pressure dew point control. This has the advantage that the dryer adjusts its (energy) consumption to the pressure dew point of the outgoing air. As a result, energy costs and the CO2 footprint are reduced even further.
Depending on the selected dew point, the Parker Zander OFAS HL Series can achieve a compressed air quality of Class 2.2.0 in accordance with ISO8573-1. The dew point and oil content have been tested and validated by Lloyds Register according to the ISO7183 & ISO8573-5 test method. Making the CDAS & OFAS series the only dryers with a 3rd party validated performance.
