The Parker Zander CDAS HL/LE 100-170 adsorption dryers [CDAS - Clean Dry Air System] dry compressed air to a dew point of -20°C, -40°C (default) or even -70°C. With a flow of up to 2040m3 per hour, these units are suitable for applications with a medium air consumption. These units are standard equipped with pre- and post-filtration and are also available in ATEX variant.
Parker cold regenerative dryers are based on PSA – Pressure Swing Adsorbtion – technology and therefore have no heat related complications like their warm counterparts. In addition, they do not need cooling air, which in turn is more energy efficient. The CDAS and OFAS dryers are standard equipped with pressure dew point control. This has the advantage that the dryer adjusts its (energy) consumption to the pressure dew point of the outgoing air. As a result, energy costs and the CO2 footprint are reduced even further.
Depending on the selected dew point, the Parker Zander CDAS HL Series can achieve a compressed air quality of Class 2.2.2 in accordance with ISO8573-1. The dew point has been tested and validated by Lloyds Register according to the ISO7183 test method for compressed air drying. The CDAS HL Series is the only dryer with 3rd party validated performance.
