Parker's hollow fiber membrane technology utilizes bundles of hollow fibers held in place by a tubular housing.
At one end of the tube, a source of compressed air is connected. Compressed air is forced through the fibers, allowing oxygen and other waste gases to diffuse through the thin walls of each fiber into the atmosphere. This waste gas exits the membrane module at the side as “permeate.”
The retained nitrogen flows through the center of the fibers to the application. Nitrogen membranes can be used in a wide range of applications.
Avilo builds nitrogen systems based on this technology for virtually any application. From small stand-alone nitrogen generators with built-in compressors to large industrial nitrogen installations.
